SUMMARY:Java Kulturore Zviceriane – Dokufilm “Nuse” nga Robert Bisha
DESCRIPTION:𝟓 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝟔 𝐏𝐦\nVenue: 𝐐𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐢, 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚 | 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲\nPremiere of the docufilm “𝑵𝒖𝒔𝒆”, directed by 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮, exploring the singing of the women of Zadrima. The original music was composed by the author himself through electroacoustic compositional processes.\nAfter the screening, the author performs on stage with the women of Zadrima, Voices and loom, electronics.\nThe docufilm, with a primarily ethnomusicological connotation, artisanal but also political and historical, evokes the memory of the transition. It seeks to act as a form of denunciation against the dictatorships of dispossession and identity that persist to this day, articulating a critique of systems that appropriate and silence cultural memory.\nOn screen “Nuse”, does not portray any specific ritual event, but rather reflects the archetype of every ritual, essentially translated into the songs of the bride.\nThe women’s voices and their articulations, rich in their monodic simplicity, the retelling of lived historical events and the often mystical poetics of the texts, shaped through the rhythmic richness of the Gheg language, melismas and the songs’ structural minimalism, allow Nuse to gently permeate the narrative.\nWe look forward to seeing you!\nSupported by Swiss Cultural Fund, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), implemented by the Center for Business, Technology and Leadership (CBTL)\n@swissculturalfund.al ( https://www.instagram.com/swissculturalfund.al/ )\nThank you @qendra_e_artit_agimi ( https://www.instagram.com/qendra_e_artit_agimi/ ) for the collaboration\nI am grateful to producer Argita Prifti of @odarestorant ( https://www.instagram.com/odarestorant/ ) for her valuable contribution;\nDan Shutt for the precious support; to the women featured in the documentary for their willingness and generosity, and to my childhood friends from Laçi i Vaut të Dejës.\n
