DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n🎬 “Reframing the Frame” continues with its second cine-concert, bringing to the screen one of the most important films from Alfred Hitchcock’s early period: The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog.\n📍 Concert Hall, University of Arts\n📅 3 June\n🕕 19:00\nConsidered Hitchcock’s first truly “Hitchcockian” film, The Lodger builds a mysterious atmosphere in fog-covered London, exploring paranoia, collective fear, and the figure of the outsider. 🌫️🔍\nThe film will be accompanied live by musician Markelian Kapidani 🎹, reviving the silent cinema experience in its collective and immersive form. Cine-concerts are one of the key components of Reframing the Frame, a program that aims to create new ways of experiencing screen culture in Albania by building bridges between film archives, artistic practice, and today’s audiences. 🎞️✨\nThis program is implemented by United Nations Association Albania in collaboration with The Albanian Cinematheque and the British Film Institute (BFI) 🇬🇧 as the UK partner.\n👉🏻The project is supported by the British Council through the WB-UK Creative Skills Development Fund, which enables partnerships between the Western Balkans and the United Kingdom.
