“Balkan Film Market 2025”

We are organizing the 9th edition of the Balkan Film Market (BFM) in Tirana, with the support of the Albanian National Center for Cinematography.

As in the past, the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana is collaborating on the initiative.

The 9th edition of the Balkan Film Market will be held in Tirana, Albania, from December 16 to 20, 2025.

The BFM is a platform for audiovisual professionals from the Balkans and Europe, designed to foster the exchange of experiences, the creation of professional relationships, and the development of co-productions and regional distribution opportunities.

PRESENTATION: “AI in my hand” is aimed at young authors aged 16 to 26, with the main goal of discovering and promoting new talent in the audiovisual scene. The program focuses on new tools that assist them in setting free their creativity and developing their projects.
Case studies of participants working closely with professional tutors, who will follow them on their artistic and professional journey, helping them to enter the audiovisual industry.
