Festivali Letrar Ndërkombëtar për të rinj – Tirana Gate 2025
Welcome to the greatest Gate that literary discussion will open for you this October, in the heart of Tirana!
We are proud and delighted to announce the 11th edition of the Tirana Gate International Youth Literary Festival taking place in Tirana from October 8–10, 2025, at the historic “Jordan Misja” Artistic Lyceum, in the “Tonin Harapi” Hall.
This year’s theme, “The Mediterranean and Europe in Contemporary Literature – The Mediterranean: The Art of Staying,” is an open invitation to explore the deep cultural currents, intertwined histories, and diverse voices that continue to shape our collective imagination.
It is a call to young writers, poets, and artists to engage with the traditions and transformations of our region — to tell new stories, revisit the old, and build bridges across borders through the power of the word.
For three extraordinary days, Tirana will transform into a crossroads of creativity, where emerging talents and established voices will come together to celebrate contemporary literature in all its forms. The Festival will feature thought-provoking panels, intimate conversations, moving poetry readings, and moments that remind us why literature matters, as art, as dialogue, and as a vision for the future.
30 prominent literary figures from Albania, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Sweden, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro will participate in panel discussions and share readings in their own languages during the Festival.
At Tirana Gate, we foster dialogue, encourage critical reflection, and bring together writers, thinkers, and cultural professionals to discuss the present and future of literature and cultural exchange in our region.
Whether you are a reader, a writer, a curious observer, or someone who believes in the power of stories, this invitation is for you.
Mark your calendars for October 8, 9, and 10.
Bring your imagination. The gate is open.
Join us and be part of the future of literature!
