Kino-koncert “Sunrise: A song of two humans”
This might be the Tirana movie event of the year. Come and see SUNRISE, the greatest silent film ever made, with a live score from the master of musical accompaniment, Stephen Horne.
The multi-talented Horne has been performing with silent films for over three decades at major international festivals and institutions such as the Berlinale, Venice, and London’s BFI. He will be a special guest in person, performing piano live at the University of Arts Hall in Tirana alongside director F.W. Murnau’s classic “SUNRISE: A Song of Two Humans”.
Winner of three Academy Awards, “SUNRISE”tells the story of a farmer who is seduced by a woman from the city and then plans to kill his own wife. Gorgeous, sensual, and revolutionary, there is nothing quite like “SUNRISE” in the history of cinema.
