Berlin-based DJ David Elimelech moves closely within the orbit of Berghain and its iconic Panorama Bar, emerging from the queer underground with a distinct perspective on house music. His deep understanding of Chicago, Detroit, and New York house informs a refined, dancefloor-focused approach, leading to appearances at IsBurning, Basement, and Panorama Bar. He is also co-founder of Laundrette alongside Roi Perez and Partok, a project known for its extended sessions and strong political context. Alongside him, Signal Ride, the alias of Frenkli Vjero, works through experimentation and live interaction. With a background in sound engineering from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, his sets move between groove-led house and more progressive directions, while his live performances focus on shaping sound in real time and building a direct connection with the dancefloor.
