International Dance Festival of Tirana

IDFT enters its fifth edition this October, under the artistic direction of Angelin Preljocaj, and for the first time, steps outside Tirana.

The program opens with a co-production built jointly by the National Theatre of Opera & Ballet and the @nationalballetofkosovo staged in both institutions’ houses. Seven works follow, spanning dance theatre, outdoor performances, a children’ show, classical repertoire, as well as new creations from some of the most distinctive voices shaping dance today: Sharon Eyal, Brigel Gjoka, Rauf ‘Rubberlegz’ Yasit, Ben Duke, Josette Baïz, Andonis Foniadakis, Lorena Nogal, Thomas Noone and Preljocaj himself.
