Nightflix Film Festival is in the making, and we will have our first ever edition as soon as the 21st of May!
4 days of cinema made by filmmakers from Albania and Kosovo. NightFlix is the only space dedicated to young local voices, and this first edition is as free as it gets: Free submissions and free entrance!
Our mission has always been to bring cinema closer to its real audience, and we are blessed to have so many friends and collaborators ready to jump on board and support our vision ✨
SPECIAL SCREENING
“In the Socialist Paradise (It Never Rains)” dives in the ever illusive system of propaganda, seemingly disguising as a way of living, and then only to find out it is a strategically designed system on how to influence the way the masses think. It is a significant moment in our documentary showcase to take a leap and screen a sober reflection on a theme that is broadly talked about in our public discourse and yet there are less profound reflection about it.
This is Ermela Teli’s exploration on freedom, the thinking mind and the interference of ideology even in the most intimate spaces, is something not to be missed. She will be joining us for a discussion after the screening ✨

OPENING FILM! 📽️
Eneos Çarka opens the Festival as part of the Feature Films program with “Another Day”. His 5-year journey of building and capturing the story of two friends working as street performers in Italy encapsulates the Albanian dream for stardom and excellence. A stunning documentation, marking the first feature film for Çarka, finds its way right to the heart of Tirana, where his journey as a filmmaker started.
